NOTE: In the videos below I use the words "your child"... this could be your child, a child that you teach or care for at home or in another environment. Consider this to be any child where you are a supportive adult in their world!

Size of the Letters
It can be hard to change!
There are some GREAT fun & engaging apps that won't allow a child to print the letter incorrectly... Then YOU don't have to be the one to tell them, the app will and encourage CORRECT practice!
Two I love are:
(1) LetterSchool (younger kids) - use HWT letters in settings for the easiest printing letters - it builds the letter, you build the letter, then try printing it! Music & visuals galore!
and (2) Touch & Write (better for older kids - gr. 1-6) and you can create your own word lists; print with shaving cream or ketchup... ensure your child prints ONE complete letter before changing their "pencil"!
What are optimal postures and "sitting" positions for writing?
Sitting on an exercise ball or cushion (e.g. Sit Fit or Move & Sit), Hokki stool or T-stool, Zuma rocker chair can all be great options for focus AND good posture.
This position provides great calming input throughout the entire body, and uses upper arm strength to hold up your body while using your hand to print or write.
Standing to work at a standing desk, easel or with a paper on the wall can be a great option for many children. It's best if the work surface is at eye level.
I have created an AMAZING video series for your child to complete with YOU. I've taken all the tips and what I've learned over the past 20 years and made it simple, user- friendly, with each video less than 10 MINUTES!
I would LOVE to help you make printing easier for your child! I am offering an introductory price of ONLY $97 (less than the cost of ONE individual OT session)... as you help your child make printing easier with over 40 videos guiding printing and motor activities that are super fun, engaging and kid-friendly (and kid approved by my own kiddos)!!!
